County Flight Path Clash Mead Competition

CCBA entered some of our local honey in this 3 county competition!
Don’t miss the judging event on 2/3/18

From Adam at Haymaker Meadery:

We are getting ready to bottle these meads tomorrow and get them labeled in the next week. I have a proposed dated of Saturday February 3rd for our judging and mead pick up.

Good evening everyone, some of you may have seen the event page I created on our Facebook page for this release. I am very happy with how these meads came out. Below is a link to the event page on our Facebook.

Here is the PDF of the event with details.  It’s gonna be a fun day so bring some food and come have fun trying and judging these meads.
The event starts at 12pm for the beekeepers and goes till 3pm, after that the meads are open for purchase to the public.
On this Saturday we would be judging the meads and the winning association will a trophy. I will need 2 people from each association to do a blind judging of the meads and pick their favorite. On top of this we will also be selling additional bottles of these meads to your members for $20 each instead of $23, each club and member will also get their “free” mead from their honey donation.
I will also be around to talk mead with any of your members.
Just an FYI, whatever bottles the members don’t buy will go on sale at 3pm on this day to the general public.
Donors included THE CCBA APIARY, MYRL STONE, DON COATS, PAUL LYSKO and
MARK & DEE GLEASON.
